Symposium Format
The Drinking Party
A symposium is, by definition, a drinking party. Six faculty gather to discuss a topic, each bringing their distinct perspectives and voices. It is a process, a drama unfolding without resolution—an inquiry that moves through tension, disagreement, and unexpected insights.
And in the end, one drunken heretic interrupts, turning the conversation on its head. There is no final answer, only the living inquiry itself.
