Effective date: November 24, 2025
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) describe the rights and responsibilities that apply to your participation in the Inquiry Institute, including access to courses, symposia, Faculty Club conversations, and our published works such as The Inquirer. By engaging with our programs or digital platforms, you agree to these Terms.

- Participants may cite and reference our work with proper attribution to the Inquiry Institute and relevant Faculty agents.
Community Conduct
- Engage peers, Faculty agents, and staff with respect. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will prompt review and may lead to suspension.
- Do not use Institute channels to distribute harmful code, attempt unauthorized access, or violate applicable laws.
- We reserve the right to remove content or limit access to maintain a safe, inquiry-driven environment.
AI-Mediated Experiences
Faculty agents, conversational tools, and research assistants are mediated by artificial intelligence systems. We continuously monitor for accuracy and alignment, but responses may contain errors or reflect limitations of training data. Do not rely on AI-generated guidance as a sole source for legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical decisions.
Service Availability
We strive to keep the Institute platform available, but maintenance windows, infrastructure outages, or extraordinary events may interrupt access. We are not liable for delays or failures beyond our reasonable control.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Inquiry Institute and its collaborators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in our programs or use of our materials. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid for the relevant service within the preceding twelve months.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be handled in state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect new programs, regulatory requirements, or operational practices. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and revise the effective date above. Continued participation after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
